SC/ST Cell & Anti-discrimination Committee

SC/ST Cell & Anti-discrimination committee has been constituted to resolve the problems and grievances associated with SC/ST Students of the institution.

Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) are two most backward classes of Indian Society. They include all the castes, races or tribes, which have been socially, economically and educationally backward.

The SC/ST cell of the college was established in 2020 with the purpose to empower the SC/ST students in the college. The college takes special interest in facilitating financial support to students from these communities from government agencies and other sources. They are also encouraged to enroll for career orientation programs, which would equip them with the necessary skills to choose a career option.

Objectives of the Cell

• Coordination: To act as a coordinating unit that works for the welfare of the students of this class.
• Welfare & Scholarships: To deal with all affairs related to SC, ST scholarships and reservations available in the Indian Government Policy.
• Grievance Redressal: Addressing the complaints and grievances of the students of the institution and resolving it peacefully.
